Prices for Our Editing Services BioScience Writers charges $70.00 per hour (U.S.) for all editing and proofreading services with a $30 administrative fee on each order.   All of our services can be customized to meet your specific needs.  The following three standard levels of editorial service reflect the most common requests we receive.  Estimates are based on submission of a double spaced document with one-inch margins (about 25 lines or 250 words per page).  You may specify the level of editorial service you desire or ask us to recommend an appropriate level of service after reviewing a portion of your document.   Basic:   Includes simple proof reading and basic editorial service of a reasonably prepared scientific document.  Includes correcting spelling, grammar, punctuation, verb tense consistency, noun-verb agreement, and formatting consistency. Advanced:   Includes all features of Basic service as well as editing for clarity, style and impact.  Includes eliminating jargon, smoothing language, and rewriting to improve sentence clarity. Professional:   Includes all features of Basic and Advanced service as well as content editing of complex material.  Includes stylistic editing at the document level.  May include significant re-writing and reorganization to improve clarity.   Editorial Service Approximate Time Required* Basic 4-5 Advanced 3-4 Professional 2-3 *Time is in Pages per Hour   Documents less than 20 pages in length can usually be completed in 3 to 5 days. Documents 20 - 50 pages can usually be completed in 7 to 10 days.
