Brian K. Ph.D.

Biosketch:    Brian received a B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science at McGill University in Montréal. He then became excited by the fast pace of biological sciences and went on to complete a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular biology at the University of Washington in Seattle. During his Ph.D. research, Brian used cell biological and biochemical methods to study the organization of the nuclei of mammalian cells. Brian has authored several primary research and review articles in the field of molecular biology. He has also been involved in the preparation of NIH grant applications, applications to smaller funding agencies, and in the review of many manuscripts for top scientific journals. Brian's current research interests are focused on C. elegans genetics.
